This is the final behind the scenes film of this Farm to Garment journey, thank you for the incredible response so far!
The garment factory is 15 miles from the fabric factories. I chose this factory for their employee welfare, organic certifications & the high quality of their work ✂️
Also, it felt just like how I imagined the knicker factory on Coronation Street would feel like; a big group of women having the absolute craic while stitching away 😍
I have always loved factories; watching something come together, the whirr of equipment & the camaraderie amongst staff. It was amazing getting to watch these incredible seamstresses bring this Farm to Garment project to life 🥲
After recently describing this project to someone they responded ‘But does anyone actually care where their clothes come from?’ 🫠 I think we can safely say YES THEY DO!
The result of this project is a small exclusive batch of T-shirts. What makes these T-shirts unique is that every pair of hands that contributed to the making of these T-shirts has been recognised, accounted for & respected ❤️
These T-shirts will be on sale via my website next Thursday 25th July & as always newsletter subscribers will get first dibs 😝
